Poundcake, a tasty pop up boutique in Nolita, NYC, celebrated it’s opening last Friday evening. UseRefuse was there in full spectrum representing the latest from their growing fashion line. Friends came out and made good use of the tight space, supporting the artisans with a lively vibe. Thanks to Erundina and Brian for their stretch clutch and billfold purchases! Poundcake, at 242 Elizabeth in Manhattan, will be open until March. Check out UseRefuse items along with other artisan jewelry, photography, knits and more!

UseRefuse Collection at Walker Art Center

DSC was selected to showcase the UseRefuse Collection at Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the Kiosk BKLN event. More info about the show below:

Brooklyn has become the sort of vibrant and gritty artist community that SoHo and the East Village were in decades past. Affordability and open spaces have allowed designers, artists, and crafters to develop largely independent of market forces with more intimate, material-based studio practices.

For just three days (December 3–5), the Walker Shop will showcase Kiosk [Brooklyn], an innovative display of products in the Hennepin Lobby featuring a wide range of jewelry, ceramics, toys, home and fashion accessories, paper products, and hand-printed apparel by new and emerging Brooklyn artists.
